Prologue of the Three Voices ,Dead Sea Scroll–Style
Christ’yal Ooten
Prologue of the Three Voices
For a Dead Sea Scroll–Style Sacred Text
I. The Voice of the Seer
And it came to pass in the days of hidden things,
that my eyes were opened by the mercy of YAH.
The veil of the heavens trembled,
and the chambers of light were revealed before me.
Thunder walked upon the wind,
and the luminaries sang their appointed songs.
I beheld what mortal tongue cannot contain,
yet the Ruach Ha’Kodesh strengthened me to stand.
These are the visions shown to the Seer,
sealed in awe and written in fear of the Holy Great One.
II. The Voice of the Scribe
Hear now the decrees inscribed by command of YAH,
for no word written here is of my own shaping.
The scrolls of the heavens were opened,
and the tablets of judgment shone like burning bronze.
Thus the Eternal One spoke,
and thus I recorded:
The righteous shall rise with the dawn,
the wicked shall fall like shattered clay,
and the covenant of YAH shall endure forever.
I, the Scribe, set these words in order,
that generations yet unborn may know His works.
III. The Voice of the Witness
My soul trembled as the glory drew near,
for who can behold YAH and remain unshaken?
The mountains bowed low,
the deep groaned beneath its pillars,
and the stars dimmed their brightness
before the radiance of the Ancient of Days.
Yet His compassion upheld me,
and His breath preserved my life.
I testify to what my eyes have seen
and my bones have felt:
YAH is righteous,
YAH is merciful,
YAH is everlasting.
Blessed be His Name.
The scribe’s final breath
“This scroll is complete. It stands as witness.”
These words were inscribed in the quiet of the night,
when the winds of the high places whispered of things eternal.
By the mercy of YAH, the Seer beheld,
the Scribe recorded,
and the Witness testified.
No line was written without awe,
no utterance shaped without trembling.
For the radiance of the Holy Great One
overshadowed the scribe’s hand,
and the Ruach Ha’Kodesh guarded the borders of the scroll.
Let it be known to all who read:
This record stands as a testimony before heaven and earth.
Its words are sealed in reverence,
its visions preserved in faithfulness,
its decrees bound to the covenant of YAH,
the Ancient of Days.
May the humble understand,
may the righteous be strengthened,
and may the seekers of truth
find rest beneath the wings of His mercy.
Thus the scroll is complete.
Blessed be the Name of YAH forever.
