Sometimes Love Has Got To Let Go


When you held me in your arms
I believed we where destiny
Than time revealed to me
my life had a different reality.
It wasn't in my plans to keep you low
so I had to love you enough to let you grow.
They say sometimes love has got to let go.

Often I lay alone at night with thoughts of you filling my mind
I am trying hard to understand what is was that you where looking to find.
I know you where searching baby,,for something I could not give
I hope you can find what your looking for in the life you chosen to live.
They say sometimes love has got to let go if you want it to grow,
But you know sometimes it slips away and finds another to take your place.
Your left alone learning daily to be strong as they hold another in their arms
You pray that God to keep you from doing harm.
I miss you so bad sometimes I just lay and cry I feel as if I going to die
Than I see you pass by, Baby you seem so satisfied .
My lips they will smile, but my heart it just cries
and you know I wonder why sometimes love,
It’s just got to say good bye.

Who Holds You

You said you would never leave me
yet your never around
You said I made you happy
but all I see is a frown.

Always and forever your
love would be true
where do you go when your busy
days are threw

who do you run to when your not here with me
as I grow tired of waiting on the love that use to be

When my days are lonely and my nights are empty to
as my arms hold your pillow, who’s holding you

You said you’d never hurt me your love was strong and true
I would never be unhappy as long as I have you.

WHERE I USE TO BE

You came in like a lion
capturing your prey
lost my love to a temptress,
He is digging his grave.
She became his bride,
he became her slave

You know I died inside
dancing in wore out lies
But with nothing to hide
I found my pride......
Now I can see the upside

You remember this
when you taste them lips
Honey ,their the lips
that I use to kiss
feel my breath in your face
you’ll always be second place

There is always gonna be
In them arms are
where I use to lay
you can’t play a game
that I ain’t already played
when his memories of me
won’t go away ....
understand ,everyone gets
there own payday

Best not to be deceived
by the web you weave
what you give, you receive
it will never leave

Let Me Use You Tonight

Friend, I asking you this question,
Please don’t look surprised.
Think about it carefully, before you reply.

I cared about him, he was my love,
He tore into my soul
He left it a wispier I n the wind.

Hurt and broken hearted,
Wondering what I done wrong
I am totally dishearten.

Oh how I tried to hold on,
but I give up the fight.,
No matter what I do ,
I can’t do anything right.

He hurt me more than I can forgive this time
The unhappy truth, is more than I know how to handle.
My pride has given up its shine.

He hurt me more than I can stand this time.
Yes you know,
he hurt me more than I know how to stand

Let me use you, yes you,, let me use you tonight.

Will you teach me how to be untrue,
How to tell a lie, play him the fool.
To kiss and never tell, walk away from a empty well.

How to hurt, and never care.
How to replace these wore out tears
To laugh never cry,,to be hell before his eyes.

Bitterness has overcome
This somebody that loved someone.
An Angry fate has brought distrust ,
For the man I once loved so much.

Now I’ll laugh ,I won’t cry,
I don’t care I’ll tell a lie.
This somebody will over come
That somebody who loved everyone.
